We survived Tokyo Disney with a baby AND a toddler

👋 Hey lovely travellers,

Whether you're a Disneyland purist, a DisneySea convert, or someone who has genuinely lost sleep deciding which park to prioritise with a toddler in tow — this week I'm taking you to Tokyo Disney Resort, snacks and all.

We did both parks. With a baby AND a threenager. And somehow lived to tell the tale (and write 8,000 words about it, apparently).

Here's your Tokyo Disney inspo to make the planning way easier.

🎠 Tokyo Disney With Kids

🏰 Tokyo Disney Magic: a family friendly adventure guide
Castle views, carousel reruns (so many reruns), Beauty and the Beast in a spinning teacup, and free entry for under-4s — this guide breaks down exactly which rides work for babies, toddlers and preschoolers so you're not guessing in a two-hour queue.

🧜‍♀️ Tokyo DisneySea: your complete (and slightly chaotic) guide
I fully wrote DisneySea off as "the grown-up park" before we went. Turns out it might actually be better with little kids. Mermaid Lagoon, meeting Anna from Frozen, and a Premier Access strategy that saved us actual hours of queuing — it's all in here.

🧠 Family Travel Tip of the Week: The Tag-Team System

Some rides just aren't going to work for your baby, no matter how much you will it. That's where tag-teaming comes in.

⭐ One parent rides the big one. One parent wrangles the small human. Then you swap.

Examples:
🎢 You: Peter Pan's Neverland Adventure
🍼 Them: Bottle + a wander past the Aquasphere
🏰 You: Pooh's Hunny Hunt
🌀 Them: Carousel, again, for the tenth time
🍜 You: Actual hot food
🎈 Them: A blowfish balloon that spins

Nobody misses out, nobody melts down (much), everyone gets their Disney moment.

Featured Post of the Week

🧊 Tokyo DisneySea with a Toddler and a Baby
If you only read one of these, make it this one. It's got the exact Premier Access strategy that got us onto every ride we wanted with zero meltdowns, plus the full lowdown on alien mochi (worth the hype), baby care rooms (genuinely impressive), and which ports to skip entirely with little ones.

❤️ Thanks for being here

Thanks for being part of this wild, messy, magical community of families who still choose Disney with a toddler on one hip and a baby on the other — because apparently we haven't learned our lesson.

Wherever you're heading next (even if it's just past the Mickey pretzel cart on the school run), I'm cheering you on.

See you next Thursday,
Emma

xoxo

👋 Hey lovely travellers, European cities can feel intimidating with kids. Big sights, long days, crowded itineraries… But the truth is — they’re some of the most rewarding trips you can take if you approach them differently. 🌍 The key shift You’re not trying to see everything. You’re creating a version of that city that works for your family. 📍 Cities that work beautifully with kids 👉 Rome → history + open spaces + surprisingly relaxed 👉 Paris → parks, bakeries, slow wandering 👉 Berlin →...
